For install the cooja , we need the following minimum system requirements.
1)OS : ubuntu-14.04 LTS(32 bit)
2)RAM :minimum 2GB
3)Processor: 2.5 GHz and above
4) contiki-3.0
Download the instant contiki-3.0 or any other need versions of the contiki package from the following url

Download the zip package and unzip the package and rename into contiki
Cooja → this Simulator is one of the network simulator specifically designed for perform the simulation in the Wireless Sensor Networks and also in the IoT Evironment.
MSPSim → is a Java-based instruction level emulator. It perform the process of the MSP430 series microprocessor and also perform the process of emulation of some sensor networking platforms.
Sensniff → This tool used for perform the process of live traffic capture and analysis for IEEE 802.15.4 networks. sensniff has two components for perform the process like, Peripheral and Host.
Zolertia → This provides 6LoWPAN hardware solutions for Internet of Things applications. And also in Different platforms we can easy perform the integration of long range communication technology between low powered devices, and also we can create a IoT applications in the shortest time.
Initially,Next open the terminal by press ctrl+alt+T buttons or search from the installed software list.
Change the contiki installation location in the terminal, using the command cd contiki/tools/cooja
For get the simulation , execute the command ant run , in the terminal
Simulation window for make a create a project or open the project
To create a new network simulation , goto file menu and select the new simulation option and also add the new mote

To open the already created simulatin , goto file menu and select the open simulation and browse the main configuration file stored location
