Performance Analysis of Efficient UAV Ground Sensor Network Communication

Implementation Plan:

Step 1: Initially, we created a Network with 10 UAV and 20 ground sensor Nodes.

Step 2: Then, we communicate using IEEE 802.11ac routing protocol for effective communication.

Step 3: Next, we send periodic beacon messages to detect nearby ground sensor nodes.

Step 4: Next, we construct a neighbor table using the HELLO messages received from ground sensor nodes, capturing details like node ID, location, and data size.

Step 5: Next, we implement Kalman Filter to predict the UAVs time to reach the desired height and enable ground sensor nodes to estimate the UAVs location for efficient data transfer.

Step 6: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following

6.1: Number of UAVs vs Energy Consumption (%)
6.2: Number of UAVs vs. Network Coverage Area (%)
6.3: Number of UAVs vs SINR Stability (dB)
6.4: Number of UAVs Vs Data Transmission Rate (bytes)
6.5: Number of UAVs vs Latency (s)

1. Development Tool: OMNeT++ 4.6 with Veins
2. Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit)
