Performance Analysis of Optical Pod Interconnect for High Performance Data Centers
Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we will construct a Network with 2 Gateways, 2 Servers(Each with 10 racks) , 2 Switches and 2 – Controllers
Step 2: Next, we implement custom Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol to handle communication between the server racks.
Step 3: Next, we manage the fair sharing of bandwidth using EPON-like dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA)
Step 4: Next, we implement POPI to generate high-bandwidth between server racks using MAC protocol.
Step 5: Finally, we plot performance for the following metrics:
5.1: Number of Racks vs. Packet Loss rate (%)
5.2: Number of Racks vs. Throughput (Mbps)
5.3: Number of Racks vs. Energy Consumption (J)
