Performance Analysis of VoWiFi Cell Capacity Estimation Using Fifth Generation WLAN
Implementation plan:
Step 1: Initially, we constructed a WLAN network based on wifi 6 with 50 VoWiFi Users , 2 Base stations, 1 Access Point and 1 Server.
Step 2: Then, we configure the Access Point to support VoWiFi calls between the VoWiFi Users.
Step 3: Next, we implement Distributed Coordination Function (DCF) with DIFS and SIFS for channel access control.
Step 4: Next, we integrate Single User RTS/CTS mechanisms to avoid collisions and improve transmission efficiency. Check capacity improvement.
4.1: Integrate Multi User RTS/CTS mechanism and check capacity improvement .
4.2: Integrate A-MPDU and check capacity improvement.
Step 5: Next, we apply compressed RTP (cRTP) to optimize VoIP call bandwidth utilization.
Step 6: Next, we validate the model by analyzing call admission control (CAC) policies for different network conditions.
Step 7: Finally, we plot performance for the following metrics:
7.1: Number of VoWiFi Users vs. bandwidth efficiency (%)
7.2: Number of VoWiFi Users vs. Throughput (Mbps)
7.3: Number of VoWiFi Users vs. Latency (ms)
7.4: Number of VoWiFi Users vs. Packet Loss (%)
7.5: Number of VoWiFi Users Vs. Jitter (ms)
7.6: Number of VoWiFi Users vs MU RTS/CTS vs SU RTS/CTS
Software Requirements:
1. Development Tool: OMNeT++ 6.1.0 with python
2. Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) or above
Note:
1) If the plan does not meet your requirements, provide detailed steps, parameters, models, or expected results in advance. Once implemented, changes won’t be possible without prior input; otherwise, we’ll proceed as per our implementation plan.
2) If the plan satisfies your requirement, Please confirm with us.
3) Project based on Simulation only, not a real time project.
4) Please understand that any modifications made to the confirmed implementation plan will not be made after the project development.
