In general, we used to make Bluetooth simulation using Matlab to perform the process of creating end to end communication links and to analyze the link level performance of the Bluetooth basic rate/enhanced data rate (BR/EDR) and low energy (LE) communication systems.

       Through the utilization of simulation, we can compute the below parameter values for the Bluetooth BR/EDR and LE waveforms.

  • Bit error rate (BER)
  • Packet error rate (PER)

       For your ease, we have provided the sample Matlab code for Bluetooth simulation for the processes such as,

  • Creation of spectrum analyzer system objects to display the frequency spectrum of generated Bluetooth BR/EDR waveform

  • Creation of default Bluetooth BR/EDR waveform configuration object with the specification of packet type as HV1

      Finally, we have executed the Bluetooth simulation through opening the project in Matlab and run the Main.m file through right clicking the main file and selecting the Run option and acquire the result that is highlighted in the following about the spectrum analysis process.
