To be frank, there is no default GUI to Mininet but we can utilize the MiniEdit which is capable to provide the Python file with Mininet installation.
While completing the process of Mininet installation, we have to start the MiniEdit along with the process of creating the new topology or to run the already created topology through executing the commands that have been highlighted below in the Ubuntu terminal window.
cd /home/research/mininet/Sample_Topology
sudo ./miniedit.py
Run GUI Simulation in Mininet
As the consequent process, we have to create and store the network configuration file along with the file extension .mn in the Mininet installed location. Following that, we have to go to the MiniEdit window and File then to the open option and browse the network configuration file which is already created.
In addition to that, we acquire the GUI based simulation topology result in the Mininet along with the number of host, switch and controller nodes.
