In fact, designing the internet protocol by our own is considered as the simple process and through this we have enlisted the required steps over this article.
Step: 1 Import Package Using OMNeT++
Initially, we have to open OMNeT++ IDE and import the needed source package such as inet to design the own internet protocol with the execution of following steps.
Step: 2 Main File Creation Using OMNeT++
We have to create three configuration files with file extension such as .cc, .h, and ned in the inet /any package with the following steps.
New → Source file
New → Header file
New → Network Description file
Step: 3 Building Protocol Using OMNeT++
Finally, we have to right click the package and selecting the build project option to build the protocol.
