  1. Update libraries

    Initially,open the terminal by press ctrl+alt+T buttons or search from the installed software list., update the system related libraries for the further new updated software installations, by using the commands sudo apt update and sudo apt upgradeUpdate libraries

  2. Install the supported packages

    Next install the supported packages for the new NS3 installation. For the supported package installation we use the following command.

    To download the openflow package , change the ns-3 installed location in terminal, by using the commands, cd ns-allinone-3.26/ns-3.26Openflow packages

  4. Execute the openflow command

    Execute the next command, hg clone http://code.nsnam.org/openflowExecute the openflow command

  5. Configure the openflow module

    To configure the openflw module by using the following commands,
    cd openflow
    ./waf configure
    ./waf buildConfigure the openflow module

  6. Openflow module in NS3

    cd ..
    sudo ./waf configure –enable-examples –enable-tests –with-openflow=/home/research/ns-allinone-3.26/ns-3.26/openflowOpenflow module in NS3
