Follow from Step 1 to Step 6 in order to install Vanet projects in ns2 simulator. Quick guide to create Vanet simulator. Reach us , if you want an customize Vehicular Ad-hoc Network projects using ns2.
Download venis from — https://veins.car2x.org/download/
Download the venis package based on the needed version number from the above url. For make a downloading , click on the download veins 5.1 button , then view the information and download the venis package.
After download the venis package, we Paste into workspace location. Next we import into the omnet++ IDE from the allocated workspace. Import into omnet++ ide by using the following steps.
In omnet++ ide , goto file menu File — import(select import) — Next select “Existing project into workspace” then click next — Then click browse. Next choose your “veins” folder from your project workspace (location you have pasted your project folders) then click ok and finish.
After import into the ide , we perform the build the process. By right click and the package and choose the build project option.
Download sumo from — https://sourceforge.net/projects/sumo/files/sumo/
Download the sumo package based on the needed version from the above specified link
paste into you home location c:\sumo-0.19.0
After download the sumo package , we need to paste into you home location c:\sumo-0.19.0 . location
sumo-launchd.py -vv -c /c/sumo-0.19.0/bin/sumo.exe to star the server with lisen port , we need to execute the above command in mingwenv window
