How to Simulate IoT Devices

         Without any question, you guys can simulate the IoT devices using Cooja just through following the steps that are highlighted in the following. At present, do you guys have any idea about this process? If not, just take a look at this article.

Step: 1 Start Cooja Simulator

       Initially, we have to start the Cooja simulator through the execution of below mentioned commands in the Ubuntu terminal.

cd contiki/tools/cooja

ant run

Start Cooja

       Following execution of above mentioned commands, we have to implement the command to acquire the result.

Create a Simulation with IoT Devices

         To create a new simulation, we have to go to the file menu in Cooja simulator and select the new simulation option and set the new simulation name as mentioned below.

        Consequently, we have to go to the menu and select the add motes option to specify the mote name and device description to select the source code location.

          Then, we have to add the required number of IoT motes and devices to position the model name.

        Finally, we have to simulate the IoT devices based on Cooja simulator and for that we have to go to the simulation control window and press the start button.
