Performance Analysis of end-to-end delay using OMNET++

Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we construct a network consisting of 6 – Merge Units, 6 – Switches and 1 – Controller.

Step 2: Next, we implement the IEC-61850 Bus into the network.

Step 3: Then, we calculate the end-to-end Delay from the communication network.

Step 4: Finally, we plot the performance of the below metrics:

4.1: Delay vs Number of Merge Units.

4.2: Throughput vs Number of Merge Units.

4.3: Packet Loss vs Number of Merge Units.

Software Requirements:

2. Operating System: Windows 10 [64-bit]
