Performance Analysis of MEC Based Trajectory Prediction for Cooperative Maneuvering

Implementation Plan:

Step 1: Initially, we constructed an urban 5G environment with 50 vehicles, 2 gNB and 1 MEC server .

Step 2: Then, we simulate and collect network data such as packet send/receive, packet size , transmission time, Tx power, path loss and distance.

Step 3: Next, we decompose and analyze the E2EL components (UL, TPL, DL) to identify performance bottlenecks based on collected data.

Step 4: Next, we predict the Trajectory by determining the maximum number of vehicles based on E2EL threshold reliability.

Step 5: Next, we evaluate the reliability by calculating the fraction of packets delivered across the vehicle loads .

Step 6: Finally, we plot performance for the following metrics:

6.1: Number of vehicles vs. Average End-to-End Latency (ms)
6.2: Number of vehicles vs. Bandwidth (Mbps)
6.3: Number of vehicles vs. Throughput (Mbps)
6.4: Number of vehicles vs. Queue Length
6.5: Number of vehicles vs. CPU Utilization (%)

Software Requirements:

1. Development Tool: OMNeT++ 4.6 or above with Veins and Simu5G

2. Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit) or above
