Performance Analysis of WiFi 6 and 5G Downlink Performance for Industrial IoT

Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we will construct a 5G Network with 50 IIOT Nodes, 2 – Base stations and 1 Server.

Step 2: Next, we integrate wireless connectivity between nodes using a network configurator for load efficiency.

Step 3: Next, we simulate the 5G environment to view the communication between the Nodes.

Step 4: Next, we optimize the communication between the nodes using an aware scheduling algorithm.

Step 5: Finally, we plot performance for the following metrics:

5.1 :Number of IIOT Nodes vs. Signal Strength (dBm)

5.2: Number of IIOT Nodes vs. Throughput (Mbps)

5.3: Number of IIOT Nodes vs. Packet Delivery Ratio (%)

5.4: Number of IIOT Nodes vs. Energy Consumption (J)

Software Requirements:

1. Development Tool: OMNeT++ 6.1.0 with simu5G
2. Operating System: Windows 11 (64-bit)
