Performance Analysis of Wireless LAN Multi Floor Network

Implementation plan:

Step 1: Initially, we designed a WLAN network with 50 Laptop Users, 5 Access points and 1 server with 802.11n on the 2.4 GHz band.

Step 2: Next,we simulate the network to view communication between the nodes.

Step 3: Next, we implemented WPA3 with RADIUS security protocol for server integration and network segmentation.

Step 4: Next, we identified performance-critical zones like gaming and vision labs and performed RF planning using Ekahau to ensure optimal coverage and minimal interference.

Step 5: Next, we integrate a centralized WLAN controller for AP management, load balancing, and seamless roaming across the network.

Step 6: Finally, we plot performance for the following metrics:

6.1: Number of Laptop Users vs. Throughput (Mbps)
6.2: Number of Laptop Users vs. Latency (ms)
6.3: Number of Laptop Users Vs. Packet delivery ratio(%)
