Follow from Step 1 to Step 9 in order to create NS3 using Simulation projects. Quick guide to create NS3 simulation in Fedora. Reach us , if you want an customize NS3 simulation projects works for scholars.
Initilally, install the needed packages for the Ns-3 installations. For make a needed package installation we need to execute the following command in the terminal window.
autoconf binutils openssh-server openssh-clients openssl python python-devel mercurial bzr scons flex bison tcpdump valgrind gdb
For download the ns-3 package we need to execute the following commands in the terminal window
mkdir tarballs
cd tarballs
wget http://www.nsnam.org/release/ns-allinone-3.26.tar.bz2
To execute the following commands in the terminal window to get http://www.nsnam.org/release/ns-allinone-3.26.tar.bz2
To implement the following commands in the terminal window to get after we use this command tar xjf ns-allinone-3.26.tar.bz2
For perform the process of build the NS-3 package we need to execute the following commands in the terminal window
cd ns-allinone-3.26/
./build.py
We perform the configuration process based on the execution of the following commands in the terminal window, ./waf -d optimized configure –enable-examples; ./waf
Validate our installation by running one example , by using the following commands in the terminal window
./waf shell
By using the following build waf commands in the terminal window
cd build/optimized/examples/udp/udp-echo
By using the following cd build/optimized/examples/udp/udp-echo and Use tcpdump to display the simulation result
tcpdump -tt -r udp-echo-0-1.pcap
