How to Install Omnet++ 4.1 in Windows Environment

1. Download the omnet++ package

   Download the omnet++ package from the following url, in the site there multiple verion of the omnet++ is listed. Select your needed version of omnet++, here we select the eversion omnet++ 4.1 , after that click the download button , which is displayed in the below of selected version

   Extract the package

2. Open the terminal/ mingwenv window

   Open the mingwenv window. By double click mingwenv window from the omnet++ installed location. then you can view the below window

3. Execute the command

   In the mingwenv command window , execute the omnetpp command , then you can view the below window
   Execute the command ->. setenv

4. Execute the configure command

   In the mingwenv command window , execute the configure command , then you can view the below window
   Execute the command -> ./configure

5. Execute the make command

   In the mingwenv command window , execute the make command , then you can view the below window
   Execute the command -> make

6. Execute the Omnet++ command

   In the mingwenv command window , execute the omnetpp command , then you can view the below window
   Execute the command -> omnetpp

7. Select the workspace Location

   Select the stored workspace, with full location, to select the workspace

8. Omnet++ Workspace Location

   By use the browse button and select the location and press ok button or type the full location . , like the below example
