1. Droptail in NS2

   What is droptail
   The Tail drop is one of the simple queue management algorithm. The network schedulers used this algorithms in network equipment to decide when to drop packets. The work nature of the algorithm is , when the queue is filled to its maximum capacity, the newly arriving packets are dropped until the queue has required space for accept incoming traffic. The sample scheduling algorithms are like , FQ, CSFQ, SFQ and also the sample queue management algorithms are RED, FRED, SRED.

2. Source code for main file

   To perform the process of TCL source code for main file by using the command ns2 simulation sudo ./ns Wired_NW.tcl

3. Open the terminal and verify the installed package

   Initially,Next open the terminal by press ctrl+alt+T buttons or search from the installed software list.

4. Change the location

   Change the location by using the keyword cd

5. Execute/run the main tcl file : by using the keyword ns

   To perform the process of Execute/run the main tcl file by using the command sudo ./ns Wired_NW.tcl

6. File extension

   In the above command the ns is the keyword to call the network simulator process , the main id the file name and also the tcl is the file extension

7. Get the simulation
