How to Install Castalia in Omnet++ in Windows

Time needed: 5 minutes

1. Open the terminal/ mingwenv window

   Open the mingwenv window. By double click mingwenv window from the omnet++ installed location. then you can view the below window

2. Execute the command

   In the mingwenv command window , execute the omnetpp command , then you can view the below window

3. Select the workspace

   Select the stored workspace, with full location, to select the workspace , use the browse button and select the location and press ok button or type the full location . , like the below example

4. Import the Castalia package

   To import the Castalia package, goto file menu and click the import option from the menu options,

5. Import window

   Select the Existing project into workspace option from the displayed import window

6. Castalia package location

   Select/browse the Castalia package location from the specified workspace and then click the finish button, like the below example

7. Build the Castalia package

   For perform the build process,
   First right click on the package folder name and select the clean local option from the list , like the below example

8. Clean project option

   Next right click on the package folder name and select the clean project option from the list , like the below example

9. Build project option

   Next right click on the package folder name and select the Build project option from the list , like the below example

10. Omnet++ simulation option

    Next right click on the package folder name and select the RunAs ->omnet++ simulation option from the list , like the below example
