How to Install Contiki OS in Ubuntu

1. System requirements

   For install the cooja , we need the following minimum system requirements.
   1)OS : ubuntu-14.04 LTS(32 bit)
   2)RAM :minimum 2GB
   3)Processor: 2.5 GHz and above
   4) contiki-2.7

2. Download contiki-2.7

   Download the cintiki-2.7 , package from the url,
   https://osdn.net/projects/sfnet_contiki/downloads/Contiki/Contiki%202.7/contiki-2.7.zip/

3. Unzip the package

   Download the zip package and unzip the package and rename into contiki

4. Open the terminal and verify the installed package

   Initially,Next open the terminal by press ctrl+alt+T buttons or search from the installed software list.

5. Install the supported packages

   Next install the supported package by using the commands , like, sudo apt-get install build-essential binutils-msp430 gcc-msp430 msp430-libc msp430mcu mspdebug gcc-arm-none-eabi gdb-arm-none-eabi openjdk-8-jdk openjdk-8-jre ant libncurses5-dev

6. Install – sudo apt-get

   Next install the supported package by using the commands sudo apt-get install lib32ncurses5 supported packages

7. Change the location

   Change the contiki installation location in the terminal, using the command cd contiki/tools/cooja

8. Execute the command

   For get the simulation , execute the command ant run , in the terminal

9. Get the simulation window

   For get the simulation , execute the command ant run , in the terminal to get the simulation window
