How to Install NS3 in Windows 10

1. Windows Subsystem for Linux Installation

   To install WSL using Setting on Windows 10, use these steps:
   Open Settings.
   Click on Apps.
   Under the “Related settings” section, click the Programs and Features option.
   Click the Turn Windows features on or off option from the left pane.
   Check the Windows Subsystem for Linux option.
   Click the OK button.
   Click the Restart now button.

2. Downloading ns-3 Using Git

   Create a directory named as repos in home directory under which one can keep local Git repositories. If you adopt that approach, you can get a copy of ns-3-allinone by typing the following into your Linux shell (assuming you have installed Git):
   cd
   mkdir repos
   cd repos
   git clone https://gitlab.com/nsnam/ns-3-allinone.git

3. Building ns-3 with build.py

   Change into the directory you created in the download section above. Which is named as repos. Next, execute the command ./build.py to build the package.

4. Execute the command

   In the following execution command ./build.py to build the NS3 package successfully.
