Download the omnet++ package from the following url,
https://omnetpp.org/download/old.html
Open the mingwenv window. By double click mingwenv window from the omnet++ installed location.
In the mingwenv command window , execute the commands,
. setenv
./configure
make
omnetpp
Select the stored workspace , with full location
Next download the Castalia. from the link , https://github.com/boulis/Castalia
Castalia is a simulator for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Body Area Networks (BAN) and generally networks of low-power embedded devices.Castalia is used by researchers and developers to test their distributed algorithms and/or protocols in realistic wireless channel and radio models, with a realistic node behaviour especially relating to access of the radio.
Import the Castalia source package from the stored workspace location
For perform the process, goto file menu , then select the import option
Select the existing projects into workspace option
Select/browse the Castalia location from the workspace
Select and look at the Castalia location from the workspace to import the project packages
Next right click on the Castalia package and select the clean local option
Next right click on the Castalia package and select the clean project option
Next right click on the Castalia package and select the build project option
Next right click on the Castalia package and select the Run As OMNeT++ simulation option
