  1. Open the terminal/ mingwenv window

Open the mingwenv window. By double click mingwenv window from the omnet++ installed location. then you can view the below windowOpen the terminal/ mingwenv window

  2. Execute the command

In the mingwenv command window , execute the omnetpp command , then you can view the below windowExecute the command

  3. Select the workspace

Select the stored workspace, with full location, to select the workspace , use the browse button and select the location and press ok button or type the full location . , like the below exampleselect the workspace

  4. Import the new project package

To import the new projecti package, goto file menu and click the import option from the menu options,Import the New Project Package

  5. Import window

Select the Existing project into workspace option from the displayed import windowImport window

  6. New project package location

Select/browse the new project package location from the specified workspace and then click the finish button, like the below exampleNew project package location

  7. Configuration of imported package file

View the configuration file from the imported package filesConfiguration of imported package file

  8. Create the Topology

Open the network file from the simulation folder, from the project folder from the workspace.Create the Topology

  9. Submodule list

Next select the needed components,/node type from the submodule list from the left side menu. For example we add the source node from the listSubmodule List

  10. Source Node

For example we add the main source node from the list.Source Node

  11. Source node connection

Make a connection between the source node and sinkSource node connection

  12. Source node and Sink

For example to the connection process between the source node and sink nodeSource node and Sink

  13. Build the new project package

    For perform the build process,
First right click on the package folder name and select the clean location option from the list , like the below exampleBuild the new project package

  14. Project package option

Next right click on the package folder name and select the clean project option from the list , like the below exampleProject package option

  15. Build project option

Next right click on the package folder name and select the Build project option from the list , like the below exampleBuild project option

  16. Run simulation

Next right click on the package folder name and select the RunAs omnet++ simulation option from the list , like the below exampleRun simulation
