    For install the NS-3.26 , we need the following minimum system requirements.
    1)OS : ubuntu-14.04 LTS(32 bit)
    2)RAM :minimum 2GB
    3)Processor: 2.5 GHz and aboveSystem requirements

  2. Open the terminal

    Initially,open the terminal by press ctrl+alt+T buttons or search from the installed software listOpen the terminal

  3. Update libraries

    Update the system related libraries for the further new updated software installations, by using the commands sudo apt update and sudo apt upgradeUpdate libraries

  4. Install the supported packages

    Next install the supported packages for the new NS3 installation. For the supported package installation we use the following command.
    sudo apt-get install build-essential autoconf automake libxmu-dev python-pygoocanvas python-pygraphviz cvs mercurial bzr git cmake p7zip-full python-matplotlib python-tk python-dev python-kiwi python-
    gnome2 python-gnome2-desktop-dev python-rsvg qt4-dev-tools qt4-qmake qt4-qmake qt4-default gnuplot-x11 wiresharkInstall the supported packages

  5. Download the ns3 package

    Download the ns3 package from https://www.nsnam.org, the downloaded file looks like ns-allinone-3.26.tar.bz2.
    To unzip the Right click over the above file and extract it to the folder (/home/user name/). Most preferred place to install is to put it in the home folder.Download the ns3 package

  6. Change the location

    We perform the process of change the location by using the command , cd ns-allinone-3.26/Change the location

  7. Build the NS-3 Package

    For build the Ns3 package , we perform the process of change the location by using the command , cd ns-allinone-3.26/ and also build the package by using the command ./build.py –enable-examples –enable-testsBuild the NS-3 Package
